"Invaders From The Planet Phunk are quite simply fantastic. In the last two years they have played at Freshers’ Week parties, the Graduation Ball and at the University’s summer music festival and not once has their energy, passion and talent failed to shine through. An instant favourite with the crowds they can make anyone get up for a boogie and never fail to get the dance floor packed. They are a friendly group and it is a pleasure working with them. Regardless of all the obstacles that our events have thrown at them they always manage to do the job as only they can. They are adaptable and accommodating, a godsend to any event co-ordinator. They deserve the outstanding reputation they have earned in Nottingham and I hope they will continue to entertain our students for years to come."

Robin Alton, Entertainments Executive, University of Nottingham Students’ Union 2004-2005

"Invaders played Trinity Commemoration Ball on 21 June 2002. The Invaders were the first band on stage in our main tent, as it was our intention to start the party off with a bang! There's no better way to get a fresh crowd buzzing than with the Invaders' funky sound; from James Brown to the Brand New Heavies simply enticing people to the dance floor, and it paid-off. It was great to have a big group of such vibrant and talented (not to mention young) artists strutting their stuff, blasting out nothing but the coolest of tunes. They were the perfect opener to our ball, we really could have let them play all night." John Hutchins, Entertainment Director, Trinity Ball 2002

"I booked Invaders to play at my wedding in June last year. From the moment they started our first dance to their last note three hours later, the dancefloor was packed. The 8 year-old bridesmaids, my 85 year-old grandparents and everyone in between loved every second of the music and the only time everyone sat down was during the break between sets. You really can't believe the difference having such a talented live band makes to a big occasion and I've had at least a dozen people ask me where I got them from." Tom Lingard, June 2005
